DreamHost dumps osCommerce, Miva for Zen Cart
According to the latest newsletter from DreamHost, the popular web host has dumped 1-click installs of osCommerce and Miva Merchant in favor of the popular open source shopping cart app, Zen Cart. DreamHost cited Zen Cart's security, MySQL 5 compatibility, user support and "open sourceness" as the reasons for the switch. I've used Zen Cart for almost all of my e-commerce projects so this is good news to me. More 1-click installs will mean a larger user base and continued development. Cheers to the Zen Cart team!
