Downloads » Search Plugins
These search plugins were developed by Sam Stevens using the Mozilla Firefox XML search plugin extension system. The one-click installation takes seconds to perform, adding an extra icon to the search drop-down menu in your browser. You can then search immediately by typing a search query into the field.
Requirements
Firefox 2+, Mozilla 1.73+, or Netscape 7+ browser. (Apparently, search plugins now work in IE7 too, but I have not tested this.)
Installation
Installation is instant. No need to reboot or even restart your browser. Simply click the install link and the search plugin will be installed and ready for use.
Uninstall
To remove a search plugin, go to your browser's \searchplugins directory (located in \Program Files\{browser_name} by default on Windows) and delete the [plugin_name].src and [plugin_name].gif files. Official step-by-step instructions can be found in the Mozilla FAQ.
